4. Discussion

In our discussion, we discussed the results and answered our research question, which is on the conclusion tab. We decided that the majority of the results proved to show that Singaporeans need foreign talent. Their proportion of white-collar workers in the ratio of foreign to local is equal.

We found that about 1 out of 15 working adults feel that the help of foreign workers is necessary.
We also found that 24 out of 25 students feel that the help of foreign workers is unnecessary.

Since the adults are the ones who are working, and know whether they need extra help from foreign workers, we have decided to take their results more seriously.

We discussed whether we should use the students' points of view, but decided not to, since they have much lesser working experience. We also concluded that some of them might have been biased towards Singaporeans.
